Loews CEO Tisch Rips Obama's Policies

Loews CEO Tisch Rips Obama's Policies
President Barack Obama’s policies are taking the economy in the wrong direction, says Jim Tisch, CEO of conglomerate Loews Corp.

Those policies have led businessmen to lose confidence in the economy and will thus keep growth subdued, he told Bloomberg.

Tisch specifically objects to the new laws for healthcare and financial regulation and to the moratorium on offshore drilling. Those policies are deterring business investment, he says.

“The thing that business people don’t like is uncertainty.”

Some corporate executives have criticized Obama for taking an adversarial stance toward business.
Another leader exposes the Obama Regime.

Thanks for the courage. Let's support Lowes.

The EPA can go to Hell, and I will go to Texas – Texas Tenth Amendment Center

The EPA can go to Hell, and I will go to Texas – Texas Tenth Amendment Center

Texas’ Duty is Decentralization of Power

Texas should invoke the 10th and legally send the EPA back Washington D.C. where they can look for a lesser target to plunder. The tenth amendment guarantees a limited federal government and grants governing authority to states and to the people. Leaders in the Texas legislature and Governor Perry have responded with strong words against the EPA’s intrusion.

Governor Perry said this about the EPA’s actions:

“The Obama administration has taken yet another step in its campaign to harm our economy and impose federal control over Texas. On behalf of those Texans whose jobs are threatened by this latest overreach, and in defense of, not only our clean air program, but also our rights under the 10th Amendment, I am calling upon President Obama to rein in the EPA and instruct them to study our successful approach for recommended use elsewhere.”

Good work Governor Perry.

Great article, thanks Brian.

Conway: U.S. Withdrawal Deadline Boosts Taliban in Afghan War - Washington Wire - WSJ

The top U.S. Marine general made a sharp departure from the White House’s talking points on Afghanistan, saying President Barack Obama’s promised July 2011 deadline to start withdrawing troops from the country had given “sustenance” to the Taliban.

“We know the president was talking to several audiences at the same time when he made his comments on July 2011,” Gen. James Conway told reporters on Tuesday. “In some ways, we think right now it’s probably giving our enemy sustenance….In fact, we’ve intercepted communications that say, ‘Hey, you know, we only have to hold out for so long.’”
