‘Fast and Furious’ Linked to Immunity Deal Between U.S. and Sinaloa Cartel, Trafficking Defendant Alleges in Court Papers | CNSnews.com
In a court pleading filed last July, Zambada-Niebla made the claims about an immunity deal.In bed with Sinaloa Cartel. Think I heard this before on Texas Overnight.
“Mr. Zambada-Niebla believes that the documentation that he requests will confirm that the weapons received by Sinaloa Cartel members and its leaders in Operation ‘Fast & Furious’ were provided under the agreement entered into between the United States government and [a Mexican lawyer] on behalf of the Sinaloa Cartel that is the subject of his defense …,” it said.
“Mr. Zambada-Niebla believes that the documentation will also provide evidence showing that the United States government has a policy and pattern of providing benefits, including immunity, to cartel leaders, including the Sinaloa Cartel and their members, who are willing to provide information against rival drug cartels.”
The defendant argued that he is protected from federal prosecution for trafficking drugs into the U.S. between 2004 and 2009 under an alleged immunity deal struck between the U.S. government and Sinaloa leaders.
According to court documents, Zambada-Niebla claims that the immunity deal provided the cartel’s leadership with “carte blanche to continue to smuggle tons of illicit drugs into Chicago and the rest of the United States” in exchange for information on rival drug cartels.
U.S. prosecutors deny the existence of such an immunity deal between the U.S. government and the cartel.
Nevertheless, the U.S. government last September filed a motion to invoke the Classified Information Procedures Act, which is aimed at assuring that national security information stemming from criminal cases – such as details associated with CIA operations – are not leaked to the public during court proceedings.
The Noose tightens around Holder's neck. But don't worry, Obama is the one holding the rope.
Don't count on Justice from this Injustice Department, or this corrupt Regime.

Texas Electric Grid Faces Uncertainty in 2012 — Energy | The Texas Tribune
An Independent Texas is in the Sights of Big Federal Government.Texas, meanwhile, faces a unique risk. Among the nation’s contiguous states, it is the only one that has its own electric grid, and this relative isolation means less outside help is available in emergencies.
Donna L. Nelson, the chairwoman of the state’s Public Utility Commission, which oversees the grid operator, said the state is struggling to get enough power capacity for several reasons, starting with a new federal Environmental Protection Agency regulation. The cross-state air pollution rule, which takes effect Jan. 1 unless a federal court orders a stay, aims to reduce sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions from power plants.
Luminant, a giant power generation company, plans to take two units of its 1970s-era Monticello coal plant in Northeast Texas offline in January because of the rule. (A third unit will keep operating but use cleaner coal.) Texas state regulators, citing blackout risks, have protested the timing of the EPA rule. But environmentalists argue that Luminant should have anticipated the regulations. Another EPA rule, announced this week and aimed at reducing mercury and other air toxins emitted from power plants, will not take full effect until 2016.
Another challenge is the drought, which remains troublesome despite recent rains. The plants that produce coal, gas or nuclear power need lots of water for cooling. This year one coal plant already had problems, and ERCOT says some 3,000 megawatts — about 4 percent of last summer’s peak demand — could be at risk by May if severe drought persists.
Looking beyond immediate cooling needs, Doggett said, water constraints could hinder planning of new gas or coal plants. A decision this year by the Lower Colorado River Authority, a Central Texas utility, not to sell water to a large proposed coal plant called White Stallion in southeast Texas was something of a wake-up call, he said.
“We normally think of a plant as being a fairly sure bet once they get their air permit and their interconnection agreement with the transmission company,” he said. “But we’re beginning to rethink that, and believe that we probably need to add their water availability to that list.”
A third difficulty, from the standpoint of regulators and electricity generators, is that profit-driven energy companies are not motivated to build new plants when power prices are low. Through September, power prices in Texas were down 2 percent from the same period last year, according to federal data, and they are down more than 15 percent from highs three years ago, largely because of falling natural gas prices associated with the shale boom.

Time to rein in the Courts. They are way out of control.Gingrich deserves credit for forcing the vital issue beneath all of this, an issue that every GOP candidate ought to address. The Supreme Court has long purported to be the final authority on what the law is. It was one thing to take that position when the judges had a modest understanding of their role: namely, to resolve cases between litigants, without the grandiosity that would impose those rulings on every American. As Gingrich points out, however, for the last half-century, the Court has regarded itself as a permanent constitutional convention. This is the absurdity: The Constitution says it cannot be amended absent an elaborate process involving supermajorities of Congress and the states — but the courts have somehow convinced us that a 5–4 shakeout from nine unelected lawyers can do the trick.
So the question for the candidates is, who is the sovereign? Who gets the final word on what the law is? Hint: The first three words of the Constitution are not, “We the Judges . . . ”

I don’t believe these state officials understand the effect of an objection by the Justice Department. Anybody who has been around these issues regularly, as compared with dabbling in them from time to time, knows the effect of the Scarlet O, the objection.
The first thing that happens is the civil rights industry goes crazy. They hold a victory celebration in the media, and change the litigation environment if the state ever decides to go to court. Secondly, the de novo review is a fiction. People in the civil rights industry, and inside Justice, know that once the attorney general has objected, the rules of the game have changed in any future court fight.
Lawyers in Austin and Columbia might have thought an objection carries zero widgets of weight in a subsequent federal court effort to obtain preclearance. They think a de novo review means a de novo review. Instead, an objection has about 100 widgets of weight – political, public relations, perception weight, and yes, even silent legal weight.
Therein lies the tragedy. Watching these states submit voter identification to the Justice Department, instead of going to court where they can get a more impartial review, reminds me of the Polish horsemen rushing toward German tanks in September 1939. Unlike the brave Polish cavalry, these states actually think they stand a chance.
The way to save Texas voter ID is to withdraw the objection, immediately, and file in federal court on Tuesday. The way to save South Carolina voter ID is to file in court immediately. Stop wasting time with the corrupt leftist bureaucrats at the Justice Department. In case you haven’t read my book Injustice, the people reviewing voter ID literally had Obama campaign posters hanging on their walls at the Justice Department. I have photos of their offices in my book.
There is nothing “honorable” about sacrificing voter integrity on the altar of process. File in court. The law says you can, and there is nothing “dishonorable” about it. Attorney General Eric Holder came to Austin and told you precisely what he was going to do. Don’t give him a chance.
Think it is obvious voter ID should be approved? Think again.

West said Holder can’t logically assign race as a motivation behind the criticisms for his handling of Operation Fast and Furious. “What Fast and Furious has to do with is misleading the Congress and the American people about what you knew about this program, and if you did not know anything about this program, then who’s in charge of the Department of Justice?” West said. “It has nothing to do with your race — it has everything to do with competence, with your character and with your ability to lead the Department of Justice.”
West said Holder’s use of race as a way to attack his critics is “the most insidious thing I ever heard.”
“I grew up in the United States military and it’s not about your color, it’s about your competence, it’s about your abilities to execute a mission,” West said. “If your commanding officer turns heat on you, it’s because you have failed to achieve the mission and I think what we’re doing is we’re looking at something that was a very horrible program — this Operation Fast and Furious.”

Only 47% Of Working Age Americans Have Full Time Jobs - Business Insider
How do these numbers look for the real unemployment/employment numbers?Obviously, that can't be the total picture, we're only at 64.4%. This is why:
- Employed: 139.206 million people (58.3% of labor force)
- Unemployed: 14.485 million people (6.1% of labor force)
But the by far largest category "missing" from both the Employed and Unemployed statistics is the "Not In Labor Force": 85.2 Million people.
- Part time employed for economic reasons: 8.931 million people. This concerns people who want a full-time job but can't get one.
- Part time employed for non-economic reasons: 18.184 million people. Non-economic reasons include school or training, retirement or Social Security limits on earnings, but also childcare problems and family or personal obligations.
The BLS definition states: "Not in the labor force (NILF). A person who did not work last week, was not temporarily absent from a job, did not actively look for work in the previous 4 weeks, or looked but was unavailable for work during the reference week; in other words, a person who was neither employed nor unemployed." (Clearly, this does include lot of unemployed people).
To summarize: 108.616 million people in America are either unemployed, underemployed or "Not in the labor force". This represents 45.5% of working age Americans.
If you count the "Part time employed for non-economic reasons", you get 126.8 million Americans who are unemployed, underemployed, working part time or "Not in the labor force". That represents 53% of working age Americans.
Try to grow your economy or invest with these numbers.

Thirteen people were killed and dozens more wounded at Fort Hood in 2009, and the number of alleged plots targeting the military has grown significantly since then. Lawmakers said there have been 33 plots against the U.S. military since Sept. 11, 2001, and 70 percent of those threats have been since mid-2009. Major Nidal Hasan, a former Army psychiatrist, who is being held for the attacks, allegedly was inspired by radical U.S.-born cleric Anwar al-Awlaki, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in Yemen in late September. The two men exchanged as many as 20 emails, according to U.S. officials, and Awlaki declared Hasan a hero.How do you like this definition of "Workplace Violence"?

The addition to White House counsel Greg Craig’s staff has alarmed some Republicans, who consider it a politicization of the office, and has irritated others who say that Democratic lawmakers who railed against Republican opposition researchers in legal positions in the past are now silent.
“Daly does not have the qualifications to be holding a significant position in the White House counsel’s office,” said Mark Levin, a conservative lawyer and radio-show host who worked in the Reagan White House and as chief of staff for Attorney General Edwin Meese.
“Her only qualification is that she knows how to dig up dirt on other people,” he said.

West's Weekly Wrap-Up
I have never previously held elected office and four years ago was returning from a two-and a- half year assignment as a civilian-military advisor to the Afghan Army. I do not see myself as a “politician.” I seek to be a political leader and thus hope to be an American Statesman.Portrait of an American Statesman.
Therefore, I will not be supporting, if I get a straight up and down vote, any of these manipulative deceptive political gimmicks - such as extension of payroll taxes and unemployment benefits.
I will be supporting stabilizing or lowering tax rates in America, and prefer to flatten them, eliminate loopholes, and reduce subsidies and deductions.
No more raising of the debt ceiling! We have shown the American people enough ineptness, incompetence, failure, and lack of courage and conviction to last a lifetime. Our system of governance is broken and we need major bold structural reforms.
Predictably enough, I am quite sure the Democrat party, many in the media, and political opponents will take my words, and eventual votes, and use them against me- feel free. I am not going to manipulate, deceive, or mislead the American people for “political gain” such as the current resident of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave is comfortable doing.
If the constituents of this Congressional District would rather have a follower than a principled leader to represent them… well, the quote of Plato comes to mind, “those who refuse to participate in politics shall be governed by their inferiors.” However, it is not just about participating; it is about being educated and informed on the issues.
The challenge to our constituents, as well as all Americas, is how long will you be treated as mushrooms, kept in the dark and fed crap? There is an incredible choice Americans must make next November 2012.
Shall America continue as a Constitutional Republic led by men and women of courage, conviction, and character… or shall America become a bureaucratic nanny-state ruled by manipulative deceivers seeking their own political gain?
Is America truly that shining City on the Hill, or will that light be forever extinguished? Choose wisely, your children and grandchildren are watching… as well as our enemies abroad.

The USS George H.W. Bush arrived Wednesday, Nov. 23, in the wake of the three Russian warships anchored earlier opposite Tartus which established a command post in the Syrian port. They will be augmented by Russia's only air carrier the Admiral Kuznetsov, which is due in mid-week.
By deploying 70 ship-borne fighter-bombers plus three heavy guided missile cruisers and five guided missile destroyers opposite Syria, Washington has laid down military support for any intervention the Arab League in conjunction with Turkey may decide on.
Bashar Assad can see for himself that Washington has hoisted a nuclear aerial umbrella to protect its allies, Israel, Turkey, and Jordan, against the retaliation his armed forces high command pledged Friday for the deaths of six Syrian air force elite pilots in an ambush Thursday.

Anyone agree with Soros?Europe must first acknowledge what its bazooka is too small to achieve: rescue Europe’s faltering members directly, he said. The bailout fund “was designed as a way of providing guarantees on government bonds, but for that purpose it is clearly inadequate. It cannot be stretched to cover Italy and Spain.”
But he thinks the fund is big enough to save Europe in a different way – to guarantee the banking system. “That would create a lender of last resort, which is currently lacking.” The bailout fund could take the solvency risk, which is beyond the legal right of the European Central Bank. Thus shored up, the banks would be able to buy the high-yielding government debt of the European countries that are currently struggling to find lenders.
He said his plan would make Italy’s debt “sustainable, because the ECB has any amount of money for the purpose of providing liquidity. At the same time, it would not violate the law against the ECB directly financing the governments.”
The plan is essentially a way to get around Europe’s fundamental economic flaw – it has a single currency, but no lender of last resort: “It’s a trick, but a trick that would work.”

has risen since Obama took office from 31,983,716 to 43,200,878, a 35.1% jump. Long
term unemployment soared 146.2% during the same 32 month period from 2,600,000 to
6,400,000. Staggering “hope and change” isn't it?
American citizens living in poverty have risen 9.5% from 39,800,000 to 43,600,000, and
the number of unemployed has jumped almost 25% from 11,616,000 to 14,485,000 as of
August 31, 2011. The number of unemployed blacks has risen from 12.6% at the end of
George Bush's term to 15.8% today, a 25.4% increase, and finally, our national debt is
up 34.4% from 10.627 trillion to 14,278 trillion *

Occupy Wall Street (OWS) - Discover the Networks
OWS organizers advocate the imposition of a "Robin Hood Tax" (i.e., taking from the "rich" and giving to the "poor") on most goods and services worldwide, with the aim of using its generated revenues to fund social-welfare programs. Such a tax was originally the brainchild of non-governmental organizations based mostly in the United Kingdom. A prominent supporter of the Robin Hood Tax is the economist Jeffrey Sachs, a key member of the George Soros-funded Institute for New Economic Thinking.Who do you know that has the most experience as a "Community Organizer?" Of course, The Community Organizer in Chief. It's obvious he's not good at anything else.
Additional OWS demands include the following: a “guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment”; a $20-per-hour minimum wage; an end to “the fossil fuel economy”; “open borders” so “anyone can travel anywhere to work and live”; $1 trillion in public expenditures for infrastructure; another $1 trillion for “ecological restoration”; “free college education” for all; the forgiveness of “all debt on the entire planet, period”; and the abolition of credit agencies.
Describing itself as a "leaderless resistance movement with people of many colors, genders and political persuasions," OWS says: "The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%. We are using the revolutionary Arab Spring tactic to achieve our ends and encourage the use of nonviolence to maximize the safety of all participants."
OWS was a key organizer of the September 17, 2011 “Day of Rage” protest targeting Wall Street, the hub of New York City's financial district. According to the group, the purpose of that event was to express “opposition to the principle that has come to dominate not only our economic lives but our entire lives: profit over and above all else.” Other noteworthy organizers of the September 17 rally, which drew approximately 1,000 participants, included USDayOfRage, NYC General Assembly, Take The Square, Anonymous, and the AdBusters Media Foundation. Indeed, Adbusters editor Kalle Lasn was the major player in getting OWS established and launched.
Another central figure in OWS from its inception was Lisa Fithian, an anarchist describing herself as a career “community organizer” who specializes in “direct action” protests, and who has close ties to labor unions.
According to journalist Aaron Klein, the September 17 protests apparently represented “the culmination” of a campaign by Wade Rathke, founder of ACORN and president of an SEIU local in New Orleans, who in March 2011 had issued a call for “days of rage in ten cities around JP Morgan Chase” -- part of his so-called "anti-banking jihad." Rathke's efforts were supported by Stephen Lerner, an SEIU board member and radical-left organizer who candidly aims to “destabilize the folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement”; “bring down the stock market” through a campaign of disruption; “bring down [the] bonuses” of executives in the financial sector; and “interfere with their ability to ... be rich.”

Rather, they must promote the notion that there are really no indicators in belief or nationality that can help the authorities apply limited security resources in a sensibly prioritized manner.
Some try to excuse this behavior as nothing more than being “sensitive,” “tolerant” or “politically correct.” The danger is that shariah-adherent Muslims regard such conduct as submissive – and, according to their doctrine, they are obliged to redouble their efforts to, as the Koran puts it, make us “feel subdued.” That means more violence, not less.
That prospect becomes all the greater when one adds into the mix the presence of government officials who are themselves tied to the Muslim Brotherhood and/or its shariah doctrine – including in senior positions in the White House, the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security. Such individuals are products of, and greatly facilitate, the Brothers’ influence operations and contribute greatly to our failure to date to recognize, let alone counteract, them.
