American Thinker: The Stealthy Spread of Socialism in the U.S.

American Thinker: The Stealthy Spread of Socialism in the U.S.
In Alinskyite fashion, most American socialists mask their true ideology by using populist-sounding rhetoric (political euphemisms) while incrementally imposing their radical anti-American agenda without identifying it as socialist. As Sun Tzu taught, all war is based on deception.

In politics, language is key and he who controls the language controls -- or at least better influences -- the debate. Constitutional conservatives, by nature, don't typically seek "control" and, in this realm, they've too easily ceded ground. Socialist forces are winning the word war. And it's imperative that they do, considering the poisonous snake oil they're trying to sell to the electorate. As George Orwell, a socialist, wrote:

In our time, political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible...Thus political language has to consist largely of euphemism., question-begging and sheer cloudy vagueness...Such phraseology is needed if one wants to name things without calling up mental pictures of them. Consider for instance some comfortable English professor defending Russian totalitarianism. He cannot say outright, "I believe in killing off your opponents when you can get good results by doing so." Probably, therefore, he will say something like this:

"While freely conceding that the Soviet regime exhibits certain features which the humanitarian may be inclined to deplore, we must, I think, agree that a certain curtailment of the right to political opposition is an unavoidable concomitant of transitional periods, and that the rigors which the Russian people have been called upon to undergo have been amply justified in the sphere of concrete achievement."

Populist-sounding rhetoric. Political speech. Euphemisms. Phraseology. Deception. Manipulation. I'd add propaganda and agitprop. This is how the socialist infection is spreading. A steady dosage of disinfectant is needed to combat it. The battle for the hearts and minds of Americans is on.
Based on a lively discussion ringing in the New Year of 2011, I submit this article as appropriate thought for the Current State of Affairs.

Many of us are easily deceived with Good Intentions and ignore the fact that Freedom isn't free of tyrants and smooth opportunists if only we have good intentions. You only have to look at history and remember Hitler and his type to see the obvious. Current events in Mexico, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and currently in the U.S. illustrate that people in ruthless control will gladly rule the ignorant peasants with Good Intention that don't recognize the real cost of Freedom.

Another physics principle to keep in mind is that as long as peasants are improving their standard of living, the ruling class will continue to rule with little challenge as is the case in China and India. Decisions can be made very productive by the Ruling Class especially for the Ruling Class.

However, the peasants in the U.S. are having their standard of living intentionally reduced by the Classic Ruling Class, and now the peasants are looking for places to go to accomplish their Good Intentions without paying the price required for Freedom.

Rather than focus on the real problems in America, the Ruling Class, as they have always done, focus on division, class warfare, dependence on Government, anti-religion, anti-moral, anti-American, false promises and lawlessness to entice/require the peasants to consider their goals as the only solution.

Those trusting in Good Intentions for the solution have always and always will be ruled by the unchecked Ruthless and "their version" of Good Intentions.

The answer is to restore America back to it's moral greatness by removing the current Ruling Class and restoring the respect for America as defined in The Constitution where the Ruling Class is of the people, by the people, and for the people. No other country and no other government has done more for the safety, the security, and wealth of the world.

Time to decide if we believe in the greatness of America and The Constitution.
