The vote yesterday came on H.R. 1388, which reauthorizes through 2014 the National and Community Service Act of 1990 and the Domestic Volunteer Service

Act of 1973, acts that originally, among other programs, funded the AmeriCorps and the National Senior Service Corps.

It not only reauthorizes the programs, but also includes "new programs and studies" and is expected to be funded with an allocation of $6 billion over the next five years, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

Many, however, are raising concerns that the program, which is intended to include 250,000 "volunteers," is the beginning of what President Obama called his "National Civilian Security Force" in a a speech last year in which he urged creating an organization as big and well-funded as the U.S. military. He has declined since then to elaborate.

Deception at Core of Obama Plans

Clever politics, but intellectually dishonest to the core. Health, education and energy -- worthy and weighty as they may be -- are not the cause of our financial collapse. And they are not the cure. The fraudulent claim that they are both cause and cure is the rhetorical device by which an ambitious president intends to enact the most radical agenda of social transformation seen in our lifetime.

His policy is dominated by Saying What the Listener Wants to Hear, but Doing What He Wants to Advance a Socialist/Marxist Agenda.

The all important questions remains? Will the Libs wake up and stop the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Coup, or will they join at the expense of their own (and the Worlds) Freedom and Wealth? If they do wake up, how long will it take to recover the Greatest Society that ever existed on earth, prior to the 2006/2008 elections? Or will it forever be too late?

Where the U.S. government usually consumes 21% of gross domestic product, this Obama budget spends 28% in 2009 and runs a deficit of $1.75 trillion, or 12.7% of GDP. That is four times the largest deficit of George W. Bush and twice as large a share of the economy as any deficit run since World War II.

Add that 28% of GDP spent by the U.S. government to the 12% spent by states, counties and cities, and government will consume 40% of the economy in 2009.

We are not "headed down the road to socialism." We are there.

Since the budget was released, word has come that the U.S. economy did not shrink by 3.8% in the fourth quarter, but 6.2%. All the assumptions in Obama's budget about growth in 2009 and 2010 need to be revised downward, and the deficits revised upward. Look for the deficit for 2009 to cross $2 trillion.

This is for all those voters that were persuaded by style and overlooked substance. More Obama Society to follow!

I'll take the Bush/Reagan days over the Obama/Carter days anytime.

Until the Libs recognize the change they impose is change you can't believe in, Socialism/Marxism will continue to spread.

Policy insiders and Washington special interests dominated the talk at the Fiscal Responsibility Summit at the White House on Monday

So much for keeping the special interests at bay.

For all the talk about reforming government, the bulk of the guests at Monday's Fiscal Responsibility Summit are from groups with clear investments in the Obama administration.

Aside from the 64 representatives from the Obama administration and Congress, a sampling of the 56 "community leaders and stakeholders" shows that no less than seven union chiefs, 10 organizations advancing racial and ethnic concerns, 10 progressive think tanks and advocacy groups, three universities, three health care associations and at least six interests groups for women, seniors, disabled and gay rights groups were in attendance.

Five conservative think tanks and advocacy groups, three health policy organizations and four business associations along with one law firm specializing in Wall Street mergers, one retirement and financial services fund, a John McCain adviser and a representative from the Congressional Budget Office (formerly a Brookings senior fellow from 2007 to 2009) rounded out the guest list.

No one expects honesty in this Regime, but I thought you might like to review the list of those attending the Summit . Check out anyone on this list, before you trust anything they say.

'Hard choices' budget sees $1.75 trillion deficit

In addition to sending Congress his $3.55 trillion budget plan for 2010, Obama proposed more immediate changes that would push spending to $3.94 trillion in the current year. That would result in a record deficit Obama projects will hit $1.75 trillion, reflecting the massive spending being undertaken to battle a severe recession and the worst financial crisis in seven decades.

As part of the effort to end the crisis, the administration proposes boosting the deficit by an additional $250 billion this year, enough to support as much as $750 billion in increased spending under the government's rescue program for banks and other financial institutions. That would more than double the $700 billion bank bailout passed by Congress last October.

Now, where does anyone turn for Freedom?

By the way, the deficit is going to be worse as a percent of GDP. GDP will be reduced also.

More Good News for Obama Is More Bad News for America

Just in the first month of The Obama Administration, there is more Chaos created across the whole government in America than anyone could predict based on history. That is really good news for Obama, especially since it's bad news for America.

The Markets are tanking, Spending is out of control, Federal Regulations are intrusive and at record levels, Racial Tension is being exploited, Banking is under assault in order to promote Nationalization, Unemployment is climbing at alarming rates, Confidence is heading to a record low, the Government changes the rules at a whim during the game, Good Leadership is non existent, Bad Leadership has all the power, Incompetence is rewarded, Competency is punished, Wealth is being redistributed at will, New punitive regulations are released daily, Health care is under attack, Courts are being overridden, Criminals are being released, Laws are being ignored, etc.

With all of the facts above, does anyone think this is an accident? This is no accident. It is The Plan. The United States of America is under a total assault. The Coup has already taken place much like Noriega in Venezuela.
