Not that it makes any difference for those who don't believe in The Constitution: "But I submit to every American the idea that if Article II—Section I of the US Constitution is no longer worthy of protection and preservation, then nothing in that document matters anymore."The term “native” relates to the geographic location of birth. But the term “natural” relates to the “laws of natural,” ergo family lineage or the bloodline of the father.
The term “natural born citizen” next appears in the Law of Nations, a treaty between nations which established certain universal standards, one of which being the term “natural born citizen.”
The related passage from Vattel’s book on the Law of Nations reads as follows;
“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens. As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”
Note the following text—“As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights.”
Further clarification—“The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children;”
And the final blow to Barack Hussein Obama—“I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.”
The subject of “natural law” found in the Law of Nations is entirely consistent with the Royal British purpose of the term “natural born citizen.” It keeps the family bloodline intact on the basis of the father’s blood, aka “natural law.” It is the source from which our nation’s Founding Fathers entered those words into the US Constitution, under Article II—Section I—Clause V;
“No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President;”
Not “native” or “naturalized” or “citizen,” but only “natural born” citizens can hold the office of president.

There is absolutely no proof that the writers of the Constitution were referring to the definition of the SWISS philosopher Vattel, who had recommended that every country should establish its own state religion and force people to join it or allow them to leave the country. Vattel is not even mentioned once in the Federalist papers, while the common law is mentioned about twenty times.
ReplyDelete"Therefore every person born within the United States, its territories or districts, whether the parents are citizens or aliens, is a natural born citizen in the sense of the Constitution, and entitled to all the rights and privileges appertaining to that capacity."---William Rawle, A VIEW OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. 2d ed. (1829)
“Natural born citizen. Persons who are born within the jurisdiction of a national government, i.e. in its territorial limits, or those born of citizens temporarily residing abroad.” — Black’s Law Dictionary, Sixth Edition
“Under the longstanding English common-law principle of jus soli, persons born within the territory of the sovereign (other than children of enemy aliens or foreign diplomats) are citizens from birth. Thus, those persons born within the United States are "natural born citizens" and eligible to be President. Much less certain, however, is whether children born abroad of United States citizens are "natural born citizens" eligible to serve as President ..."---- Edwin Meese, et al, THE HERITAGE GUIDE TO THE CONSTITUTION (2005) [Edwin Meese was Ronald Reagan’s attorney general, and the Heritage Foundation is a well-known Conservative organization.]
You might want to read the article submitted. Just click on the main link. I think it provides the background for those that aren't rewriting history.
ReplyDeleteI've read all the articles. The reason that not one member of the US Congress voted against confirming Obama's election is that no one believes this junk. All 535 members voted to confirm Obama's election UNANIMOUSLY. If even one had believed that Obama's father had any effect on Obama's eligibility, the vote would not have been unanimous.
ReplyDeleteThe Wall Street Journal put it this way:
"Some birthers imagine that there is a difference between being a “citizen by birth” or a “native citizen” on the one hand and a “natural born” citizen on the other. “Eccentric” is too kind a word for this notion, which is either daft or dishonest. All three terms are identical in meaning. "
Yale Law Review wrote: "It is well settled that “native-born” citizens, those born in the United States, qualify as natural born. It is also clear that persons born abroad of alien parents, who later become citizens by naturalization, do not." (Jill A. Pryor, Yale Law Review, 1988)
Such prominent conservative Senators who are also lawyers as Orren Hatch and Lindsay Graham say that a Natural Born Citizen is simply one who was born in the USA:
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC), said:
“Every child born in the United States is a natural-born United States citizen except for the children of diplomats.” (December 11, 2008 letter to constituent)
Senator Orrin G. Hatch (R-UT), said:
“What is a natural born citizen? Clearly, someone born within the United States or one of its territories is a natural born citizen.” (Senate Judiciary Committee hearing hearing on OCTOBER 5, 2004)
"Therefore every person born within the United States, its territories or districts, whether the parents are citizens or aliens, is a natural born citizen in the sense of the Constitution, and entitled to all the rights and privileges appertaining to that capacity."---William Rawle, A VIEW OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. 2d ed. (1829)
Typical Liberal Constitutional Authorities:
ReplyDeleteWall Street Journal, RINO Lindsey Graham, Rino Orrin Hatch, and Rino John McCain. Don't forget Yale and Harvard those great "pro Constitutionalists" Schools.
If you think Congress is constitutional, just look at some of the laws they passed. McCain-Feingold, ObamaCare, etc. You might not have noticed they just read the Constitution last week as a reminder of the oath they take to uphold the Constitution. The Libs didn't like it before and still don't. Do you?
Don't forget the constitutionalists FactCheck, Snoops, Media Matters, Mainstream Media, Daily Kos and other Libs and Wackos, that are dedicated to eliminating the Constitution as it stands.
Sorry, I forgot, you may work for them.
Think most of what you regurgitated here was thrown up before.
Facts are stubborn things.
Facts are indeed stubborn things, and one of them is that Obama is a Natural Born Citizen because he was born in Hawaii and falls under the definition of Natural Born Citizen due to his place of birth.
ReplyDeleteYou may dream your dreams, but Obama's election was confirmed unanimously by the US Congress, and he was sworn in by that RINO, the Chief Justice of the United States, and the US Supreme Court has rejected every single birther lawsuit.
