Finally, both raise questions about the judgment and sincerity of Barack Obama who, as a sitting U.S. Senator, campaigned for an obviously corrupt Raila Odinga in 2006 with whom he was on the telephone as recently as January 7, 2008, while mounting Kenyan political violence captured the world’s headlines. What they were really discussing in that phone call, we may never know.
