As a side note, the official title of this bill (S.540) in the House is “To
designate the air route traffic control center located in Nashua, New
Hampshire, as the “Patricia Clerk Boston Air Route Traffic Control
Center””. Seriously. Are they trying to hide this vote in the
future by putting it under this Senate-originated bill? You have to look
at the NOTE before you realize what it does: The measure is
expected to be a vehicle to extend the public debt limit and repeal a
reduction in the cost-of-living adjustment for military retirees.
